The cruises to Bonaventure Island offer a close-up view of Percé Rock, Bonaventure Island, and its impressive seabird colonies, including the largest gannet colony in North America. In addition to the boat excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to disembark on the island for a hike. The trails, ranging from 1 to 2 hours in duration, provide spectacular views of the sea and local wildlife. These cruises are available from June to October, depending on weather conditions.

Striped Bass Fishing (5 minutes from the cottages)
No permit is required for this fishing experience, but it’s essential to check the regulations regarding size limits and catch quantities. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner looking to try this activity, striped bass fishing is ideal. This sport fish, which stays in the sea, offers a good fight for its size. Scuba Diving (Departure 5 minutes from the cottages)
The Percé Nautical Club invites you to a memorable scuba diving experience, exploring the exceptional biodiversity of the Rocher-Percé Marine Park and Bonaventure Island. This site is considered one of the most beautiful in the world for scuba diving due to its rich underwater landscape, where you’ll observe diverse flora and fauna. Even if it’s your first dive, don’t worry! You’ll be accompanied by experienced professionals who will guide you and ensure a safe and unforgettable experience. The Nautical Club offers guided dives as well as initiation courses and training for both beginner and experienced divers. A must-do adventure to discover the underwater world of Gaspésie.

Géoparc UNESCO World Heritage Trails (5 minutes from the cottages)
The Géoparc trails allow you to discover spectacular geology and exceptional landscapes. These trails, spread across 13 routes ranging from 0.5 km to 2.5 km, offer stunning sea views throughout your journey. Mount Sainte-Anne, which occupies a large part of the Géoparc, is an unmissable highlight. The Géoparc is renowned for its unique geological features, which led to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site. To complete this adventure, don’t miss the glass-floored platform, offering the best view of Percé and its surroundings.

La vieille usine at Anse-à-Beaufils (7 minutes from the cottages)
La vieille usine Pub and Restaurant is a must-visit, offering a friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy local products while relaxing on the terrace directly overlooking the local lobster fishing port. This unique view of the harbor creates an authentic and warm ambiance. In addition to the restaurant, the site also features an art gallery and performances from both emerging artists and well-known talents, allowing you to explore the local culture and history of the region.

Cod and Mackerel Fishing (Departure 7 minutes from the cottages)
Captain André Després invites you aboard his boat for a friendly and enjoyable sea fishing experience. Passionate about his work, André will make you feel at ease so you can fully enjoy the experience. You’ll have the opportunity to fish for cod and mackerel, and all necessary equipment will be provided. Just 5 minutes from the cottages, Anse du Nord is an intimate pebble beach, perfect for striped bass fishing, and offering a unique view of Percé Rock. In Cap d’Espoir, 10 minutes away, you’ll find a family-friendly beach with convenient amenities like mobile cafes and restroom facilities. Coin-du-Banc, 15 minutes away, is perfect for walks, and you can discover Gaspé agates, the region’s true treasures. Lastly, Barachois, 20 minutes away, is ideal for fishing due to its warm water currents and beautiful sand, making it the perfect spot for a day of relaxation. From June to September, the crystal-clear waters of this river host salmon and brook trout in pools with spectacular colors. This site is a must-visit due to its exceptional landscape beauty and the purity of its waters, considered among the clearest in the world. The area is accessible via a well-maintained road network. The region is full of places where you can savor authentic Gaspé dishes. Just 5 minutes from the cottages, La Maison du Pêcheur is a must-visit for tasting maritime specialties with an incredible view of Percé Rock. This historic site, once linked to the FLQ movement, features original murals inside, adding a unique cultural touch to your culinary experience. If you enjoy tapas and good wine, head to La Buvette Thérèse, also 5 minutes away. La Maison Mathilde, located in an old Gaspé house, welcomes you in a warm and intimate atmosphere, as if you were invited to a Gaspé resident’s home, while offering refined cuisine highlighting local products.
